A RAFFLE in County Limerick is giving two winners the opportunity to
wine and dine with Kerry TD Michael Healy-Rae in Leinster House.
The unusual prize will be up for grabs at a straight poker classic held
in Nellie’s Bar in Dromcollogher this Friday at 8pm.
“The fundraiser is for a friend of mine, Carol Liston O’Connor to help
her fight against Motor Neuron Disease (MND),” Triona McCarthy from
Dromcollogher and organiser of the event said.
“Michael Healy-Rae had heard what was going on and got in touch. He
said he would offer a trip for two up to the Dáil for a tour and then
dinner with him afterwards.

“My event is a poker drive. We’re told we will have massive numbers so
that is absolutely brilliant,” Ms McCarthy said.
According to Ms McCarthy, there are many more prizes on the night.
Tickets are available from Nellie’s Bar in Dromcollogher.
The money raised on the night will go towards house adaption, transport
and day-to-day living needs for Carol and her family who now needs
round-the-clock care.
A GoFundMe page has been set up in aid of Ms Liston O’Connor for anyone
who wishes to donate.
