DEV BLOG - Week 52 of 2021

Sunday, December 26th

It's the last week of the year. I got some things accomplished, and I can't really complain.

I also began looking into C++ as well, since I want to have a better handle on what Talisman is doing. At some point I want to add support for gemini in it since it already has gopher support embedded. Granted, they are similar but not the same.

Spent over a quarter of my night watching a 10 hour course on C++. One of the best things I've done. If she'd been around doing this 25 years ago, I'd be a programmer with 25 years experience instead of a Linux Administrator right now.

C++ FULL COURSE For Beginners (Learn C++ in 10 hours)

me, all excited at finally getting it

Monday, December 27th

Fresh start looking at my various projects, now with a slightly better idea of how to get at them and start completing some of them. I'll probably write a post on it later because that helps guide me and visualize what my goals and intentions are in relation to my targets.

I adore this little dude. He swims up to the corner of his tank and watches me type as if he knows what's going on. Fish are awesome.

Tuesday, December 28th

Thinking about some new projects I plan to start working on soon. To that end, I will very likely put the bulk of that information here to be found by the people that are really searching and are actively looking for it.

Wednesday, December 29th

I had a wild hunt for a windshield wiper pulse module. I found it. Behind the dashboard, that I will now have to figure out how to remove in order to get to it.

Thursday, December 30th

It was an absolute pain in my ass, but I got the damned thing traded out and got my sticker.

Friday, December 31st

Preparing for a new year and what I hope to do with it.

Saturday, January 1st
