# Emacs? ^"Arnie Bragg.. *Again!*'?"
My thesaurus broke inexplicably in Nvim the other day. :-(
I think I deleted ~/bin/venv by mistake whilst I was clearing a bunch of shit out.
It took quit a while to fix this error ;; #Shama Lama Ding Dong Moan!
It broke my Thesaurus and I got mildly annoyed. Anyway after using
Neovim for a couple of months and finding it easier to set up than vim (Don't
know why, maybe it's the Lua). Trying Emacs again seemed like someone elses good
idea; so I had it.

Has it got a better Thesaurus integration?

Well MW-THESAURUS works really nice, I'm still messing with spellcheck, I need
to get a nice highlight colour for badly spelled words. Of course the DOOM
plugin thingy makes using Emacs a lot less of a hassle for me. Whether I'll be
able to do a custom Emacs from scratch soon is another matter. I doubt it
though. Also also, auto-complete seems way less intrusive as it was in that
Neovim config I tried briefly. I think Emacs is a tad slower so things seem a
bit spongier. Is that even a thing?

A custom version like what I did with neovim would be the ideal.
All of everything I needs fit on one page. With comment'si it's 132 lines of code.
It's prettyi much perfect for my Gemini needs.
But I am finding emacs way more confusing.
