A man who breached non-molestation orders taken out against him by
family members has been jailed at Derry Magistrate's Court today.
Dean Robinson (30) of London Street in Derry admitted a series of
offences that occurred in November last year and February this year.
The court heard that police were called to a report that Robinson had
approached a house in Kinsale Park despite being told he was not
allowed enter that area.
When arrested he made a no comment interview.
The court also heard that on February 8 this year Robinson came to his
mother's home and was banging on the door.
She told him he was not allowed to enter the house and he continued
'roaring and shouting'.
His mother was left 'shaken' and in fear he would return to the
address.
When arrested a small amount of cannabis was found on him.
Defence solicitor Seamus Quigley said that his client had spent some
time in custody.
He said breaches of non molestation orders were always a serious
matter.
Robinson was jailed for six months.
