Questions:

• How best to store memory?
• How good can the activity summarizer get?
• How much should the Director control (i.e., how hierarchical should the system be)?

Activity manager (either manual or automatic) tells each submodule including the director when to acitvate. It is always on and can be told to wake things up on a schedule (but shouldn't make decisions itself).
