Flow Circular — Google Fonts
This was recommended in a writing Discord I’m in. One way to keep yourself from going back and editing constantly is to just *not see* what you’ve written before. Webdings, Wingdings, or really any other “obscured glyphs” font would work for this, but this one also doubles as a neat way to represent redacted text.
Since I know a non-trivial number of people reading this probably don’t want to visit a Google website, I’ve uploaded the file here (which is permissible under its license):
This is a very nicely designed Android browser. As the name implies, it’s built with e-ink devices in mind, but it works very well on my regular-ass phone too. The Reader Mode button is just right there front-and-center! It has built-in Pocket integration, so I reactivated my years-defunct Pocket account and stuck some recipes in there.
The only thing I dislike is the lack of dark mode support to keep me from blinding myself at night, but then, maybe I shouldn’t be browsing the web while I lie in bed, anyway.
This is a command-line-based note-taking/bookmarking app. I think I saw it being discussed elsewhere in Geminispace a few weeks ago, and I’ve had it cluttering up my tabs ever since. I haven’t gotten the hang of it, but I respect the concept and the effort put in.
