Suddenly, for no good reason, I had this vision of a video game in my mind.
Well, not entirely no reason as I was walking my dog, and hyper-aware of other dogs nearby (as my dog is a real asshole with other dogs, but great with people)...
Anyway, it's pinball with an animated dog acting as a ball. The dog, with its tongue out, races to the target and bounces off, rolling over and continuing to the next one without a pause. Appropriate sound effects (yelp on collision, panting, etc.). A variety of bone-shaped targets get consumed and crunched on collison.
Upon hitting it with your paddles, the dog reverses its course with appropriate complaining and squealing.
Different dogs are launched (or perhaps, breeds change as certain targets are hit). Each has its own strength and weakness - a bulldog is not too fast but has a lot of mass, knocking down nearby targets, while a grayhound is fast and accurate but perhaps too fast to control.
At some point, there is a loud pop and you get
M U L T I - D O G
Chaos and hilarity ensue as dogs collide with targets and other dogs, growling, snapping, rolling over, and dragging each other by their cheeks.
TODO: something with pooping and hydrants...
Someone please make this, as I probably won't.
