Infinitus Audio with Willow

[Feb. 26, 2024] The podcasts are temporarily on hold. Recently it came to my attention that Spotify is discontinuing its Podcasters app, in favor of a third-party product with which Spotify is now partnering. If I won't be able to record using the Spotify for Podcasters app, I will need to explore alternatives. If you know another way to produce a podcast as easily as the SfP (originally called Anchor) app, please let me know!

These podcasts are mostly the audio editions of my newsletter content on Substack.

All episodes are available on Spotify.

How to listen without a Spotify account and app:

On Android devices: Install the "Antennapod" app. Go to "Add podcast." Under "Advanced", select "Add Podcast by RSS address." The RSS feed address is: https://anchor.fm/s/2fced18/podcast/rss
On desktop: Install the Vivaldi browser (which has a built-in RSS reader), or any other RSS reader (QuiteRSS is recommended for Linux). Subscribe to the above-mentioned RSS feed.

To download episodes for off-line use:

On Android devices: The Antennapod app allows for an easy download of each episode. To find where on your device the downloaded audio files are located, go to "Settings" under the menu, then select "Downloads," and see under "Choose data folder." (Note: If you are running this Android app on a Chromebook, you will find that you cannot access the default location using the file manager.)
On desktop: Open a web browser and enter the above-mentioned RSS feed address into the address bar. You may see a nicely formatted page with a list or episodes, or may be you will see an XML file. If the latter occurs, copy the URL following the "enclosure url=" tag (the title of an episode and its "pubDate" are shown right above it), and open that URL in the browser. Then you will be able to save the MP3 file from the browser.
