It's been a hot minute y'all, but I am finally re-emerging from my gemini slumber.
It's been a crazy couple months to start the year, and all in a good way. The most recent changes include buying a new computer for the first time in a very long time, and migrating my self-hosting server from my home to a vps. I /just/ got my gemini server back up and running so I figured there was no better time to post again.
This year also saw me reading a helluva lot more. I even created a bookwyrm[1] account to track everything I'm reading. Bookwyrm is a goodreads alternative that is also part of the fediverse. I've really enjoyed tracking my reading and seeing what other people read and what their thoughts are on various books.
I've also started using my 1st gen PSP more. I want to be more of a 'gamer' even though I know I'm not. However, I find myself enjoying driving a couple laps in Gran Turismo on my trust little handheld every once in a while and that has satisfied the 'gamer' itch quite well.
I may not have posted on gemini for a while but I've still checked in quite regularly. It appears to me like there's been a bit a surge in participants, but I could be wrong. If there is then the more the merrier! Gemini holds such a special place in my heart. In my opinion, the more people entering the space the better.
I didn't realize how much I miss writing for this dinky little capsule until I started typing out this bumbling post. It truly is a one-of-a-kind space to me, and I will try to be a more consistent and active participant.
I will be sure to share more with you all very soon :)
