Buttermilk Cornbread

(200° C)

Ingredients

(400 grams) corn flour

(4 milliliters) baking soda

(2 milliliters) salt

(5 deciliters) cultured buttermilk, shaken

(1.25 deciliter) oil

(2) eggs

Instructions

Mix dry ingredients. Mix wet ingredients separately. Combine until just mixed. Pour into greased form and bake at 200° C for about 35 to 40 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center.

Notes

Best served while hot or still warm.
