Phigros is a mobile rhythm game available in the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store or through TapTap.
I like Phigros. It's a pretty fun rhythm game. And by fun I mean absurdly fun sometimes (**warning**: flashing at some parts). Although, for the most part, it's pretty fun.
Although, I should note that the fun is in the Insane (IN) or Another (AT) charts, so if you're playing Hard (HD) or Easy (EZ), you may not get a lot except for maybe some skills.
Phigros only costs you:
Primarily your time, because the things you can get in the game only costs your time, not your money (except for maybe your mobile device).
The quality of the game is quite exceptional for its price of 0. Like, if you were a pretty early player (like major version 1), you can probably tell the differences between an old chart and a new chart, and the new charts are like quality.
It's also primarily an offline game. The only online functionality so far is cloud save (through TapTap), but there's probably better built into your phone backup solutions.
(Backups: If you have an iPhone/iPad, plug that into a Mac or maybe a Windows computer with iTunes or whatever. Then use the backup functionality in iTunes on Windows or Finder through macOS. That's local backup. Or just use iCloud backup. For Android, it depends on your OS.)
I don't know how to write a proper review. It's just the things I like about it, and some notes about it.
I could probably infodump about the game mechanics, but I'm pretty sure the chart makers know about it quite well too. Oh well, not today.
