I bought a 27โ LG Ultra Fine 5K about 2 years ago. it was expensive, and I get not everyone can afford that. I use it professionally and personally and easily spend 50-60 hours staring at it a week. besides my mattress itโs probably the most used possession I have, so it felt like a good use of funds
I love it. text is clear and crisp. that resolution, with that smaller dimension makes the pixels invisible to my eyes. text looks like a magazine. games look amazing but Iโm not playing modern AAA games. if it broke tomorrow Iโd buy it again without thinking ยท 1 year ago
I think the implication is which is best for what you use computers for *the most* Not everyone does office + gaming, or development + GFX, etc. Anyways, I've never had an LED/OLED, but burn-in makes me hesitant to get that, so I would go with [1] for now. ยท 2 years ago
[2] bigger is better:-> ยท 2 years ago
[1] It's what built in w/ my L440 lool ยท 2 years ago
My IBM ThinkVision 21" CRT is pretty much the best for every use case except portability and desktop real estate. OLED is starting to get close in latency and picture quality. But it can only show one resolution without scaling.
So I guess [3]. ยท 2 years ago
Right, for what purpose? Office? Gaming? Development? GFX? ยท 2 years ago
