@devyl i'll keep that flounder.online in mind as well. i'll first try the russian stuff that m0xee mentioned · 1 week ago
@m0xee THANKS, it's not as distributed as i hoped for, but ican work with it. TOR that is, I2P still is a bit of a mystery to me. i'm now going to try to decrypt the russian stuff. Thats going to be a bit of a challenge. · 1 week ago
Apparently, hosting on both TOR and I2P is possible. At least, I've seen it mentioned here: gemini://phreedom.club/cgi-bin/rgb.cgi
It's in Russian, but you can use built-in translator in Lagrange, translation is imperfect, e.g. capsules become pods, but you get the general idea.
Try asking there, maybe someone there can point you in the right direction 🤷 · 2 weeks ago
Then you might try out for example this: gemini://flounder.online/ · 3 weeks ago
@devyl Eversince i heard abour gemini i'm searching for a safe way to selfhost on my home IP, but i don't wantto eaxpose my IP address. This is when i started to look at IPFS but i don't have a clue if that will even work, so i'm hoping that someone with more brainpower figures it out (if it's possible at all) I really want to host it from home so that i'm not having any accounts other then my ISP. I want to use Gemini for communicating sharing data to people in my local area. very basic, yet it would help a lot. · 3 weeks ago
Station is more a microblogging "board". if you want to gemlog/blog you should consider making your own capsule imho · 3 weeks ago
