DiskCopy (4th release, 15 March 1991)
by Todd Whitesel

This is a beta quality program that will extract disk images from "dImg" files.

DiskCopy can now accept arguments from a controlling shell like Orca/APW. (I
think it will also work with Pro-Sel, but I don't have Pro-Sel so I can't verify
it.)

DiskCopy will also prompt for a filename if it is run by itself. However, the
most convenient way to use it (once it's installed, of course) is via the finder
icons mechanism. To use the finder icons mechanism, install the icon and put the
file in your system folder (or edit the icon). Now all you have to do is extract
the "dImg" files with GSHK, rename them to something ending in ".dimg", and
double click on them (the icon is a document with a gold disk in it).

This is the fourth release. Other than command line argument support, nothing was
changed from the third release, in which filename prompting was added -- with
nothing else changed from the second release.

WARNING. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THIS WITH A SINGLE 3.5 DRIVE. (Another reason to
call this beta quality.) No disk-switch provisions have been put into the code
yet. It really isn't that difficult, but I have other stuff I would rather work
on. I would much rather wait until I understand the desktop tools before I finish
DiskCopy.
