I love movies. And I love watching them in the best available resolution when I want. I love to have a copy of a movie that is not going to disappear unexpectedly from the streaming service I use. I am not here to justify or argue for media piracy. I am just here to teach you how to break free of the chains of Netflix and Prime Video, and the prison of copyright laws.
disclaimer media piracy is illegal and I would never ;)
If, however, I would, here is how I would be able to watch any movie I want, any time, any place:
1) Get Mullvad VPN. It's the best one. Period. 100% transparent pricing, proven to not log user data with a police razzia, and super simple to use. Not even an email required. It's $5 per month, and using the internet without it makes me feel naked nowadays.
2) Install qBittorrent. Open source and no-bs powerful BitTorrent client.
3) Find a good movie tracker. I would use 1337x.to if I were to commit such a treacherous illegal act that hurts the gigantic studios so much.
4) Click the magnet link to add the torrent to qBittorrent without having to worry about .torrent files
5) Watch in VLC or other video player of your liking
If you are a bit more advanced, you can setup a Kodi media server and an automatic torrent management program such as Radarr:
1) Small client running Kodi to stream from a storage server or similar to a TV (A raspberry Pi is cool)
2) Overseerr, radarr and sonarr on the client to automatically find torrents for a requested movie
3) qBittorrent running on a storage server to download and serve the movies
There are definitely better guides out there, and this just serves as a bit of inspiration :)
