Etienne's capsule

Being interested in classical music, I enjoyed reading about Etienne's journey to learn music orchestration.

This post in particular is interesting to me:

I'm studying Byzantine music, and different tones (i.e. modes in Western music) also have emotions associated with them, e.g. Tone 3 is very bright, Tone 5 is triumphant, Tone 6 is martial, that sort of thing. It's interesting to see something similar for Western key signatures.
