Sb: MS-DOS 3.3 PATCH Fm: MIKE PELCHAT 73337,3171 To: [F] All I "was" having a problem with my T3KHL, (01.03.02 BIOS ROM upgrade & MS-DOS 3.3), in that the b: 3.5 720K drive would not execute subsequent DIR commands. I would place a disk in the drive & enter DIR, the files, & the bytes free displayed ok, as it should! * HOWEVER * Upon subsequent DIR requests with a different disk, the same files, and bytes free would be displayed from the original disk. Bummer ! So I called DFW, and I got this nifty little patch, works great !! c:>patch ibmbio.com,4e0c,74,eb <return> c:>patch ibmbio.com,1ea1,30,41 <return> Also add this line to the config.sys ...... drivparm = /dd:1 /f:2 Life can be beautiful .....
