or was it Georgia? Hmmm.
I stumble into The Midnight, it's dark in there, but still keep my sun glasses on ... just in case. ~bartender? How's the flood going? Drying, I hope? Well, how about a stout first? And then some of that Gin again, yes, please?
I take a detour to inspect the Jukebox. How about a round of Erroll Garner? Bar Jazz, I'd say, a recognizable style. Oh, bling, bling, bling, tatataaaaa ... mellow sounds fill the room ... ah, you guessed it. I have been in the second hand record store on the way. An amazing place. You constantly have to watch your feet. Jazz on the Table, cardboard boxes on the floor with Bach, Beethoven, Albinoni, Scheidt and the like. What a mixture. I found a record by Klaus Doldinger, oh it's scratched, but who cares, that's what vinyl is like. Shakin' the Blues ...
Summer is here, temperatures above 30°C, thunderstorms making their appearance ... so I hope everyone is staying dry and reasonably cool. Are you?
~bartender serves a fine craft beer. Thanks! And Smudge of course is around my feet since I entered. Let the good times roll ... Cheers!
Summer is definitely here. Hitting 95 F today, with clear blue skies...thunderstorms appearing tomorrow for me as well. Nothing like an ice cold fruity margarita to cool you down in the midst of the summer heat. Feeling good!
I leave you with an ascii plot of my raspberry pi's temperature graph for the last few days:
CPU Temp 68000 +-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | + + + + + + + + + + + + | 66000 |-+ * * * +-| | ............................................................ ........................................ | 64000 |-+ * ********** ************* ************** +-| | ** * ************** * ***************** ***************** | | **** ******* ** ** * * ****** * * ******* *** * ****** ***************** | 62000 |-+ ************ ******** ** ** * * ***************** *** * ****** ** **** * *********** +-| | ***************** * ** * *** * * ***** ** *** * **** **** ** ******* *********** | 60000 |-+ ** * ***** * ** * *** * * *** * **** ******** ** ** *********** +-| | * ** * ** *** * ** * * ** **** * * ********* | 58000 |-+ * ** * *** * ** * * ********* +-| | * ** * *** * ** * * ********* | 56000 |-+ * ** * *** * ** * * ********* +-| | * ** * *** * ** * * ********* | 54000 |-+ * ** * *** * ** * * ********* +-| | * ** * *** * ** * * ********* | 52000 |-+ * ** * *** * ** * ********* +-| | * ** * *** * ** * * ****** | | * * * * | 50000 |-+ * +-| | | 48000 |-+ +-| | ............................................................ ........................................ | 46000 +-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ 05/17 05/18 05/18 05/18 05/18 05/19 05/19 05/19 05/19 05/20 05/20 05/20 05/20 05/21 18:00 00:00 06:00 12:00 18:00 00:00 06:00 12:00 18:00 00:00 06:00 12:00 18:00 00:00
The vertical streaks are when the CPU temp went over 65°C (149°F) and the fan kicked in. I can't believe it's still spring.
