Note that these are from the Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block,and are intended to be used as mathematical symbols. Using them forfree-text emphasis subverts their intended purpose and may throw thingslike text to speech systems, document search etc. off. I am stronglyagainst using them for emphasis.
