Hi Friends,
I'm one of the "old" people who lived through the early days of the internet (i also lived in the FidoNet!). It should be remembered that the internet was created in the late 60's by the DARPA as a communication network to ensure that government entities will be able to communicate with each other after a full blown nuclear war! The then called arpanet was planned to have as much redundancy as possible to resist even catastrophic events. 60 years later a script kid can bring a fortune-500 company to its knees. Thank you very much, beancounters!
Best regards from Charleston (WV), Frank/2
