Frankly, half-open is borked for TCP pretty much as well, due to the
semantics and operation of the Bezerkly sockets API, so that's not new.

I do vaguely recall seeing some funny things at the TCP level inthose packet traces.

If so, that could be be another reason to not require the serverto send close_notify unless it is able to send all the data first.
