Thank you for this; this does a tremendous amount to de-escalate the

situation.

Lesson to be learned, perhaps: when an actor in a position of power (real,potential, or even just perceived) issues a moderate threat, other actorsmay read it as an existential threat, and so eventually provoke the SecondComing (of Jesus or the Valar or both, it's going to be a rough ride in anycase). So the bigger you are, the meeker you should be; after all, themeek will inherit the earth, bit by bit, pushing back against violence.
