That's me drawing a line under org-mode for this page and starting again. It wasn't without it's learning, but it's fairly pointless thing to do. Well I'm getting on famously with Doom-Emacs. I'm kinda thinking it's better than Neovim, but really that could just be Elpher controlling my mind? So much so I'd forgotten how-to open a terminal in Nvim; I've only been using DEmacs a week. I'm quite happy with (SPC o t) or C-c T to open vterm full screen. Just to figure out which file to edit to get Elpher working and some Gem-txt high lighting. File under #FAQFLU! It could be another one of those cases where it's better to start from scratch. I think I could almost get this to work for me if I could get a floating terminal working. It works in neovim on my phone, which is ridiculous tbh, but it's sort of fun!

So why change it? It wasn't broke, it didn't need fixing. I am surprised there isn't a setting to revert to the old notification style, would it be so much of a stretch?

Finally. I feel like I own my phone. It has zero cruft, zero google and it just works.
I'm still waiting for my new phone to have the OEM unlock button activate. Although now after dicing with death and changing the battery* of my old phone I could probably live without it. Such annoying first world problems! See, my new phone has a proper jack for headphones and I like that. It means I've got a dedicated podcast/music player if nothing else. Who knows though? If it isn't unlock-able by Thursday I'll take it back. Tiz a bit of a shame. But I can't keep a phone with more things on it disabled than I use, it just seems ridiculous. Like GOOGLE PLAY service is running in the background; I don't use Google play, I'll never open it. And I've no idea what Moto Actions and Gestures even are. There is even a search engine chooser that keeps showing up in the overly cluttered notification area. It's all so odd, that people put up with this kind of asinine help. ,* Disingenuous *astards on youtube. How many times did they *uck that up b4 getting a good demo? I bit the bullet. I brought a new phone, MotoG32. If I can't unlock the OEM boot thingy within the next few days I'll be taking back. I sat down and tried unlocking this thing as per the manufacturers instruction only to find out via some other complainant that it can take three days for the unlock to come through? Thanks for letting us know in advance. The excuse for this three day wait is fairly feeble, it's in case of loss or theft. I wonder how many people report these cheap phones as lost or stolen? This phone is the sort of item a criminal would force you to take at Gun point.
