Crash on start-up - F-Droid v1.17b26 on Android 9

A few weeks ago my Lagrange installation (F-Droid v1.17b26 on Android 9) began to exit on start-up before any page was loaded. I did try moving state.lgr aside but that didn't help.

What else can I try short of removing my fi.skyjke.lagrange/files ?

Thanks!

It could also be a remote bookmark issue. Are you using those? Try renaming your bookmarks.ini file, and see if that helps?

Same thing, but it fixes itself eather on its own or after device reboot. Android 6

The problem was the one feed in my feeds.txt

Lagrange started for me after I renamed feeds.txt

Thanks!

No problem! To prevent this crash in the future, you might consider disabling automatic refreshing of feeds (Settings > General > Feed refresh interval: Manual), as automatic refresh may cause a network request to occur too early during app init. That seems to cause problems on Android...

I'll have to ensure that no requests (feeds or remote bookmarks) occur before the app is fully up and running on Android.
