A MOTORIST who overturned his vehicle in Banogue was fined at Newcastle
West Court for careless driving.
Gerald Ndlovu, aged 31, of Cloonomra, Clonlara pleaded guilty to the
offence at Ballyphilip, Banogue.
Inspector Barry Manton, prosecuting, said gardai received a report of a
road traffic collision on August 28, 2022.
“Gardai attended the scene of the accident. They found a vehicle on its
roof. The occupant was removed to University Hospital Limerick for
treatment. He was subsequently prosecuted for careless driving,” said
Insp Manton.

Michael O’Donnell, solicitor for Mr Ndlovu, said his client has no
previous convictions.
“It was a momentary lapse of concentration when he lost control of the
vehicle for a moment. The car was extensively damaged,” said Mr
O’Donnell.
Judge Carol Anne Coolican fined Mr Ndlovu €250 for careless driving.
