A Dublin woman who confessed to money-laundering of €5,800 at a bank
account in Clonakilty will be sentenced later this month.
26-year-old Lynn Knowles of Earlsfort Road, Lucan, Dublin, was
arraigned at Cork Circuit Criminal Court where she pleaded guilty to
the single count of money-laundering.
The particulars of the charge are that that between October 28 and 29
at AIB bank, Pearse Street, Clonakilty, County Cork, she engaged in
handling the proceeds of criminal conduct, €5,800.
Donal O’Sullivan defence barrister said the accused had no previous
convictions. No report was sought from the defence.
Judge Helen Boyle adjourned sentencing until February 19.
