I think I'm done offering de-googling/Linux help to people for free. I will hold fast to principles, but it takes too much time and effort to push this on individuals especially if they're not willing to put in work. I take hours of my time to extricate someone's data from predatory services, and all they care about is "give me apps and features". When I explain it doesn't work that way, and habits must change, and when things don't work right it's because this software is saving you from being preyed on, there's a fight. It's tiring, frustrating, and sad. If you want the help I'm happy to give it, but you really truly must want it. I won't offer it if you don't care enough to read a website, some man pages, or a book about it.
