First off, welcome, and thanks for reading. Accessing a Gemini server is not easy, so I appreciate the effort you've undertaken.

I intend to use this gemlog to capture brief thoughts and ideas. In particular, the content I'll write here will be more opinionated and more personal than anything I'd put on the web. The fact that Gemini is obscure and not as glitzy as the web makes me more comfortable with this approach, and it also seems more fitting. Back in the day, you could be more yourself out here on the interwebz. I look forward to that.

I also will keep my messages short. I'd rather pop out many small messages than save up for bigger pieces. Again, that feels more fitting for this medium.
