TL;DR: I've updated most of this blog's pages, grinded for a new perpetuity ring in GBF, made some progress in Pixel Cat's End and Pixpet, and attempted to find online stores that sell digital DRM-free music.
Hello, everybody! This is just a short rundown of my week; at work, I got assigned to manage an orientation that's scheduled to take place very soon, while I'm still assisting with other training programs. Hence, I've been fairly exhausted during the weeknights again.
First, over the week, I went through the pages on this blog and updated most of them. For reference, I also added the date of last modification at the bottom of each page, so people will know when was the last time I updated the specific page.
Second, I mentioned in previous blog posts that I hadn't finished my write-up for the unofficial weblog.lol webring, so this weekend, I decided to sit down and clean up my draft for it, once and for all. It was surprisingly shorter than I thought it would be. Additionally, decided that instead of a separate blog post that could get lost in the archives, I decided to merge the write-up with its existing project page on this blog. Check out the updated page!

Lastly, I've also submitted this blog to the Focus First Webring, but as a directory member, since I don't use JavaScript here.
Remember when I said in my last blog post that I might forget about finishing the ongoing story event at the time? Yep, that was exactly what happened. Oh, well.
Anyway, Rise of the Beasts started last week, and I found out that with it came one restock of the perpetuity ring, so I spent three nights grinding the raid battles until I could purchase it. Now I have two perpetuity rings, with one reserved for Grand Vane. (My original plan was to use those two rings for Summer Naoise and Summer Seruel, but my boyfriend convinced me not to go ahead with it, pffff. Grand Vane is more important, he said.)
Later, I also remembered that I was working on uncapping the Death summon so I could recruit Nier. I checked the materials required, obtained the remaining that I needed, and finally got both summon and character. Yay!
(Side note: Nier isn't the first Evoker that I've recruited; I'd already uncapped the Hanged Man summon thanks to the Evoker Recruitment Set from the 9th anniversary story event. Thus, my first Evoker is actually Caim.)

Here's just a brief report on my progress so far in the two virtual pet sites I've joined recently, Pixel Cat's End and Pixpet: in Pixel Cat's End, I now have 17 adult not-cats and 1 growing bean, while in Pixpet, I have 15 fully-grown Pixpets and 10 fully-grown Pixpals. Not bad at all!
(Side note: I may have gotten carried away with bidding for rare eggs and items in Pixpet. My inventories are almost full! I apologize to my diminishing budget for a bigger house.)
I made the executive decision to stop using YouTube Music for, well, streaming music, and start buying my favorite albums for offline listening. I prefer to listen to my music without my Internet connection cutting out the sound or YouTube randomly blocking playback for certain songs, thanks. I've signed up for Bandcamp, but only one of my favorite artists sell their music there. I'm considering HDTracks, but I don't like how you can only download a purchase once, and if you have to download again, you have purchase the album again. If anyone has any recommendations for where I can buy digital DRM-free music, I'll appreciate hearing them!
That's all I have to say for now. See you all next week!
