I hope everyone's having a great start to the week. I've taken a little break to hang out in Barcelona and make some progress on some personal projects. What's everyone else up to?

Continuing to work on my Smallnet Information Services project :)

Implementing a Gopher server and having it interact properly with the routing and the other servers so far is the hardest part, mainly because Gopher puts itemtypes in the gophermap directory listing rather than as part of the response. So in Gopher you can't really have a link/route that changes its response itemtype/mimetype dynamically, whereas in Gemini you *can* have this. This makes proxying gemini to gopher a bit harder. It's definitely an interesting problem to solve. · 3 months ago
