Shortcuts to Happiness

This is an ongoing list of ways I can try to cheer myself up. Mileage may vary. Not meant for serious issues or to replace therapy/medication/etc.

Turn off the sad music for five fucking minutes
Go for a jog, it really helps
Have a peanut butter & jelly sandwich
Try to be kind
Play a video game you like a lot
Read an old journal entry
Go walk or sit outside (if sunny)
Listen to some punk rock
Think about getting a new tattoo
Remember there’s no afterlife
Say you’re sorry and mean it
Talk to a friend
Write it out
Listen to a good ska song
