So my final exams are starting tomorrow;

and i have no idea what to do.

well, what will i do?

sleep is an option, yes; it's the thing i'm supposed to do right now (it's 11 PM at night as i'm writing this). however, i'm too anxious to sleep.

The reason is simple: the subject being tested tomorrow is English.

and i have historically performed the worst in my english papers.

now, dear reader, you might be confused: how does a guy who has the confidence to write a blog fail in the language he writes in?

well, the trainweck of a sentence which was the previous sentence should probably be a hint to how bad i am at it.

but it's not just that.

you see, as it turns out, the education board i study under has absolutely atrocious english.

Don't believe me? lemme post a paragraph from the textbook:

Nowadays we have gadgets to monitor blood sugar, blood pressure etc. at home; 24 x 7 monitoring can be provided to patients in hospitals too. With the help of Big Data the doctors can now have better diagnosis of any ailment, the effect of any drug etc. Unnecessary guesswork can be significantly reduced. Past records of the patients can be maintained and better analysis of the health can be obtained. Big Data helps in monitoring the outbreaks of epidemics and diseases. Just when you post your message, ‘I’m down with flu’ on WhatsApp or Facebook it will be monitored and the areas affected by ‘flu’ can be easily located and necessary precautions can be taken. Pharmaceutical companies would pay huge amount to receive the health data of people to promote research in the particular area. With the help of the data gathered, individuals are often given suggestions and solutions for the problems they are encountering.

yes, we have a chapter called "Big Data", and this was the paragraph with the lowest number of grammatical errors and the most bearable writing style in general.

the textbooks are filled with errors, the question papers are filled with errors, and when you correct them you get a big fat zero as thanks.

me being me, i can't not correct them; i just boil over instantly at such a massacre.

thanks to the exams being online till now, only my parents had to deal with my temper; however, with the exam being in an actual classroom now, i'm scared that if i see one more mistake, it'll probably end with me being thrown out of the classroom.

even without the whole throwing out ordeal, i have been consistently performing really bad at english when you just look at the final grades (got 51% in the prelims a month ago). When you look at the paper, however, you realise it's because of a combination of two reasons:

so yeah, i'm gonna have fun tomorrow

wish me luck pls
