Figma variables are amazing! I've been working on updating Tor Browser's design system, and I love how much easier things are when components start using variables.

Here are some videos that show how cool Figma variables are and how useful it is:

Screencast showing that it's possible to change between light and dark themes in designs with just a few clicks.

Screencast showing that the designs are "aware" of their contexts. So if the parent frame is set to dark theme, dragging a light-themed design into it will switch the colors automatically.

Screencast showing that variables can contain values other than color like numbers to represent a progress bar's width.
