Software

Mehari

Mehari is our pure OCaml Gemini server. It runs this site and supports various features such as:

MIME type inference
Static files serving
Rate limiting
Virtual hosting using Server Name Indication (SNI)
CGI
Long running TCP connection for response body streaming.

It is also cross-platform and supports Eio with OCaml >= 5.0.0 as well as Mirage OS and UNIX.

Proximité

Proximité is our HTTP2Gemini proxy. It aims to be our main online visibility and you should be able to obtain proxied content simple by copying an URL pointing to heyplzlookat.me and changing its scheme from gemini to https. It also offers some cool features like image, audio and video inlining.

To connect to another host, use the following template URL:

/gemini/hostname/path

Anecdotally, you can supply which port to connect with port URL get option (defaults to 1965).
