Pipewire = amazing. If you aren't using it for your linux audio server, you should be. It replaces Alsa, Jack and Pulseaudio. And it works out of the box, no config needed.

I love drop-in replacements like this. Start pipewire, pipewire-pulse and wireplumber, and you're all set. pavucontrol, blueman and multimedia applications work just fine with zero tinkering. And the best part is that somehow Bluetooth audio on my X220 is more stable now :) ยท 2 years ago

I second this. Pipewire is a game changer regarding the Linux audio stack. I've been using it for more than a year now. In the beginning there was a few issue with bluetooth, but now it's smooth sailing. ยท 2 years ago
