General expectations when dealing with caravans, smaller settlements, and traders are to be observed here: No stealing, bribing officials, passing counterfit goods, breaking contracts, etc.
There will be no duels of any sort within city limits regardless of reason or person. If you feel, for whatever reason, that our legal system has not properly addressed your grievance we ask that you take the matter beyond our borders.
We collect taxes. This is so that the city can pay for services provided be they security, medical, educational, postal, or other. If you do not wish to pay these taxes we would kindly ask that you leave, but please be advised that you will be asked to pay any outstanding debts if you return.
Practicing Necromancy WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. It is understood that one cannot change the magic they are born with but due to the unrest cuased as well as agreed upon standards with surrounding communities we will persue Necromancy in the same manner as we would murder, Rape, or any criminal act against a minor. Be advised that we are in communication with other cities and townships within the are and will distribute your name and description to these places. You will be hunted. You will be found and you will be burned at the stake.
With the above said. Any who are not active practitioners and register with city guard will be given protection from harassment and abuse so long as they abide by city law and are tax paying citazens. These are people who in spite of the drive to explore their magics have agreed to live within community bounds. We will treat persicution of such persons swiftly and severely. Additionally we have a one strike warning for anyone with necromatic affinity and a potential exemption given to further incidents pending investigations.
Goods trains come twice a day at 8AM and 8PM. Passenger trains Arrive at 6AM and 6PM, and depart at 7AM and 7PM. Please contact the transit and rail authority for further details.
Public maps are posted at every major intersection and any business owner may be approached to assist with directions.
Sprites will be seen within city bounds. Work under the assumption that any you find are working with the local post office, and any interruption of their duties will be seen as an attack on city officials. Any accusations of theft or misconduct should be reported to the postmaster rather than resolved 'personally.'
