This is a gemlog for the SpellBinding puzzle, in which you construct words using the specified letters (each word must contain the anchor letter).
GIRTH GOTH HIGH HIGHT HOGG HOOT HORROR HOUR HURT OUGHT OUTRIGHT RIGHT ROUGH RUTH THIGH THOROUGH THOU THOUGH THOUGHT THROUGH THROUGHOUT THUG TIGHT TOOTH TOUGH TROTH TROUGH TRUTH
Pangram: OUTRIGHT
HIGHT: being called, named, as in 'I met a wise man hight Stacksmith'. Archaic, and not likely to be seen unless you are reading 'King Arthur'.
HOGG. This is an error - a proper name of a Scottish poet. I goofed.
RUTH - not the name... 1): compassion for the misery of another 2): sorrow for one's own faults : remorse. Funny, I never looked at the definition and had a good idea of what it actually means. What is really curious is that the two definitions are distinctly different: the second one is sollipsistic while the first one is altruistic. But the word 'ruthless' bring both together - looking at the two items: 1) without compassion and 2) without remorse, the two are not that different. Maybe it's just me.
TROTH, a curious one:
And that's the TRUTH.
Another day.
