I guess a lot of people object - but being able to insert *tiny* images without extra requests in gemtext seems like a nifty idea.

I think because this doesn't use extra requests, and users still have to click on the link to see the image, it's more fine with a larger portion of the people on geminispace, but I could be very wrong, idk.
Anyways, this is pretty cool!
