I have been a lot thinking about this lately… but maybe I will learn Godot to make a game… Unity is too sketchy lately. Does anyone know any good tutorials for it? Preferably totally beginner friendly.

Thanks winco! It’s been a long time since I used Unity though… and program in general 🐟

Not really a tutorial, but there is a guy called 'DevDuck' who converted his unity project over to godot.

Like said, not a tutorial but it is an interesting insight into not only starting a new project but duplicating functionality from unity to give you an idea of the way godot does things.

Good luck on your project! · 1 month ago

this probably works best if you have a game category in mind you want to work on.

pick a popular game in the category you want ie stardew valley for farming/RPG(picking this because its what I used when I needed to learn). find someone on yt showing how they are recreating it and follow along. break away and do your own thing, ideally as early as possible even if you aren't 100% comfortable. you can come back to the tutorial to see how they implemented whatever you are unsure of. · 1 month ago
