Altogether I would have enjoyed it more if I'd been watching from home. Sadly.
That's always the case for me.
And the main reason is that to my way of thinking, much more work goes into a recorded version of a song: many "takes", much fiddling with EQ, mixing, effects. Furthermore, I've rarely preferred a live version of a song to its what-I-want-to-call canonical version.
So I've been off and running in USENET land again. It was fun to note the comp.infosystems.gemini newsgroup, and articles therein from Gemini peoples I've encountered.
It was actually "reminisciently pleasant" to see all the "spam" post titles again. I've never been one to bemoan such, because ignoring them doesn't seem too difficult. To me it's nothing new humanity doing its drama thang.
Grant it, these days people of above-average self-righteousness would likely be "losing their shit" on many of those titles. And I feel for their self-imposed plight while feeling relieved I don't put myself through so much angst.
