It hit me I really ought to finally be done with "set autoindent" in the .vimrc. I think it's there because I used to write a lot more code, and thought I might return to that in a bigger way any day now. But that's clearly never going to happen.

These days I'm far more likely to paste others' verbiage into a vim session for triggerama inspiration, and paragraphs breaks can lead to ever indentational funk under the auspices of autoindent.

My wife and I took our sweet time navigating the moments strung together between the endpoints of this day, watched some zany flick called "Rat Race", coffee and tea, ate as we pleased.
