Re: " makeworld: Bye, Gemini Thank you makeworld for your..."
Gemini should be here waiting for them whenever they feel like poking their head in again sometime. :)

Another great gemini personality leaving the space. Sad to hear :(
Sad to see you go! For me it was the opposite - gemini made the internet bearable and I rarely go past hackernews on the loudweb. But to each their own!
It seems like this is a thing that happens quite often with a certain type of developer. Chasing the new interesting thing just because it's new and interesting and once the shine wears off moving on to the next new thing. That's not a criticism of makeworld, just an observation that I've seen happen a lot of times in geminispace and other places as well. We all have different personalities and that's OK. I will continue using amfora as it's a great client that still works just fine. Thanks for all your contributions makeworld!
"loudweb" - love this term !
true, sad.
but not about me: i never wanted css for my site. its just hand written simple html. always has been. if i knew about gemini earlier, i'd just use gemini, and i would maybe proxy for web with kineto or something. still i guess this is the way to go.
also if i could comment under his post, i would write that reddit like software he wishes it existed on geminispace, exists. the bubble we cooment on now.
Thank you makeworld for your contributions to Geminispace! One benefit of having a protocol whose specification is not intended to change is that the current software can live on in maintenance mode, perhaps indefinitely. With any luck, Amfora today is just as good to browse Gemini with as it will be in the years to come.
