I've been playing the Quake II remake and it's genuinely good. The enemies are a little smarter, and now duck. The graphical improvements look good, the game has accessability options now that are pretty cool for those that need them. Overall a really good experience.

Quake III doesn't need a remake, definitely the most authentic fps ever, and paved the way for a lot of other great games · 4 months ago

@ruby_witch Yeah Quake III dominated the FPS scene for a while. I think to this day it's one of the most played FPS games. I'm really hoping that they give it a remake next. :) · 4 months ago

As I've been playing more of the Quake II remake, I've decided that I didn't play much of the original when it came out! I know that I had it on CD when it was new, but the levels really aren't jogging my memory at all, which is a very different experience from when the Quake I remaster came out!

I'd say that this is a good thing really, as Quake II is still a fantastic game and I'm getting to experience it for the "first time". :)

I think I must have played more Quake III, as I definitely remember spending time with Quake beyond the first one... · 4 months ago

Bonus awesome points for Id software! They ported the new Accessibility stuff to Quake 1 so both of the remakes have it now. I love when a developer thinks to do things like this, it shows they care about their players. :) · 4 months ago
