@norayr I am not the artist (I wish I was though!) The artist name is Bill Tavis and these art pieces are limited run, there will only be 100 of them made. I need to check what number I got for 'Hanging On' which is why its '?'.
These works incorporate fractal geometry, specifically the Mandelbrot set and Julia sets. Fractals are a big thing for me, they are very beautiful/aesthetically pleasing and their visual complexity makes for a great feast for the eyes.
Some people would describe this style as 'psychedelic' which is fair.
'Seeing Both At Once' makes me think of consciousness, the soul, how spacetime geometry/fractals help give rise to living organisms, the harmonic oneness of the universal observer and how self similarity/recursion geometrically represents the idea of 'as is above so is below'. The Mandelbrot set being the pupil is a great and tasteful move with many ways to interpret.
'Hanging On' isn't quite as symbolic to me yet. Its more just a really cool piece to look at, very vibrant and the halftones are striking. I'll have to meditate on it and see if it resonates with anything for me on a deeper level.
