Unfortunately no, that is not possible. A server has no way of signaling to the client what to put in the input prompt initially.
The best we can do is copy & paste either manually or with Lagrange's "Paste Preceding Line" (helps if each paragraph has its own text segment).
If you are using Lagrange, Titan is another option, although it's a little cumbersome. You'll first need to open the segment in raw view by entering just a backslash in the Edit prompt, and then use Edit Page with Titan.

Can the "edit form" be pre populated with the original text to be edited? I am new to the gemini protocol, and do not know if that is even possible given the minimalistic requests and responses it supports.
