The preferred way is to define the post title using the draft composer. This way the post title gets properly used in feeds to represent the post. If you skip the drafting step and post directly, you can still set the title using regular gemtext syntax (typing this in the Post prompt):

# My post title
Here's my post body, hello.

You can also always edit a post and add the title afterwards.

The Bubble post titles are styled as level 1 headings (#).

You can use all heading levels freely in the post body text, but those don't get picked up in feeds.

Thanks @skyjake.

I also noticed that the display effect I mentioned (where in the first text of my posts seemed to be turned into a header of sorts) was actually due to the following Lagrange preference being in effect:

File -> Preferences -> Page Layout -> Big 1st paragraph

When I disabled that, I got the behavior I prefer.

I've noticed the first line of posts I put in u/oldernow seem to be rendered as though a heading of sorts, despite the fact I don't preface them with #/##/###. I'm wondering, is it okay for me to intentionally make those gemtext headings? Or will that muck with whatever seems to be doing that for me? And if I do that, which heading level should I be using so it appears the same heading level as what is being done automatically? I ask because I'd like to mirror my posts elsewhere, and want...
