Do I really want to create yet another account somewhere now that tilde.club seems permanently dead?
No. Eff no.
Looks like I could still upload to places that supported a Geminaut incarnation prior to oldernow, but nah.. confusion.
Given @skyjake has made it so easy to push a Bubble post to Antenna, and Bubble is incredibly reliable, I may as well stick with what faithfully works.
Any recommendations out there for where to put a seven meg audio file for Geminauts to listen to? While I was with tilde.club I was under the impression having something like amongst *.gmi text files might be considered a breach of politeness, if not terms.
Down another path, I thought maybe it might be as simple as linking to an anyone-accessible Google drive file URL... but then noticed that an .mp3 in that realm wouldn't even play for *me* in "Incognito Mode", and I started imagining others might not be able to listen to such unless signed into Google. (Something visual "spins" while the file is seemingly being accessed, and eventually a player appears in the Chrome tab.. but clicking on the play icon leads to "There was a problem playing this audio file" being displayed, along with an option to download the file. I just plain don't want to put others through that.)
But I've nowhere else to host medium-ish sized audio files like that, and definitely don't want to put out for something I do so rarely.

I could put your song one of my radio stations if it's music :D I would just need to know what you're licensing it as (if you want it to be a CC license, or just a "license" (permission) for my site to use and redistribute it, or whatever.
I've been meaning to create something like this for a while now, where music-creators can upload their music to AuraGem Music and allow it on the radio.
My harddrive can handle 1 TB, but I should note that the stability of my server is not 100% guaranteed. Every month or so I have at least like a 5 minute downtime due to our internet being wacky (our ISP and modem isn't the greatest), but other than that, I try to keep it up as much as possible.

@clseibold So.. attach it to an email to you?
I don't know what to tell you about licensing, as I've never had to give it serious consideration. I would like for you and others to listen to it, but not for others to profit off it without permission - or, worse yet, take credit for writing/performing/recording it. What kind of license accomplishes roughly that? And how do I associate such with it? I've not message with whatever can put metadata (or whatever it's called in this case) in an mp3 in ages....

@oldernow For that you would want Creative Commons. There's a few different ones, but the minimum for what you want would be CC BY-NC or CC BY-NC-ND. These both allow people to redistribute your song for free.
BY means they must give credit to you.
NC means non-commercial - they can't use it if they make money off of it.
ND means non-derivative - they can't modify it.
Alternatively, you can just reserve all rights and just give permission to specific people to redistribute it, but not attach a license to it. This means only those people would be able to redistribute, and nobody else can.
You can find more about Creative Commons here:

@clseibold That is a wonderful offer! And a great idea! "Community Artists" or something similar? :)
I can't help but read "Antenna-mas" as "ant" + "enemas"

Yesterweb cities doesn't seem to have any throttled filesize upload limits, in case that's of any help and you want your track as a clickable link. You create an account with a cert you assign to page, then via titan you can upload files, make updates to files and pages you host there, etc via a titan FTP-like page over your client. Alternatively, you can also WebDav in via compatible file transfer client.
Projectsegfault also has gemini-hosting. I'd suggest my pubnix, but it's under renovations atm, tho usually can be found at hashnix.club (I'll make an update once it's back up to speed).
