Another jampacked day!
First, I took Spekky and Chanteuse out to THE DREADED DESERT AREA where I always get my ass handed to me. One of these days I am going to prove to myself and to the world that I am tough enough to traverse through these lands. Unfortunately, today is still not that day...
But something far more important happened. I successfully tamed a wild horse!! I'm glad I had a lump of sugar to entice him. I've been meaning to accomplish this for *weeks* and I have finally prevailed!
Once he finally calmed down, we trotted back to Vancil's stable in Heidel. He gave me a saddle to put atop my new steed -- a stallion whom I have named "Houdini." A beautiful creature to say the least.
He cannot carry as much as Chanteuse, and is nowhere near as fast, but I do want to spend lots time training him.
So, I left Chanteuse in Heidel and took Houdini to the Western Guard Camp, where I procured an alchemy tool to put in my home. I haven't successfully alchem'd anything just yet, but maybe I'll learn to do that next.
