Woken up at 5:15 this morning by a PayPal notification: someone has ordered a copy of everything my little micropress has produced. My partner isn't feeling well this morning, so after getting up and moving around quietly downstairs, I went and checked, just to make sure I still had at least one copy of everything, which I did, though a few of the items are down to the last couple of copies.
Which isn't a big deal - I can just order some more covers at Staples, and print/fold/staple the rest of the matter at home. I did this before, for the first item that sold out. I like having a few copies around just in case. Sometimes "just in case" turns out to be "I get an overseas order for literally everything I've produced".
So I set aside a half dozen items, and I'll mail them off tonight. On a quiet week, like this one, I might leave the house once, apart from walking the dogs. I'll combine all my errands into a single block, head out just after supper on a Friday evening, get back at 8:30 or 9. Just enough time to watch a show, or mess around on the internet for a bit, and then head to bed.
Let it never be said I don't know how to live.
