Howdy! Wanted to finally shoot a message to this list in order to say "hi!" and share some of the Gemini stuff that I've been doing. I've been quietly flirting with Gemini tools and ideas since the summer but have been shy about reaching out! It's amazing to see all of the inventive ideas going on, I've really enjoyed watching from the sidelines. Today I wanted to share the Gemini python3 client I've been working on for folks' interest. The genesis of this was really wanting to focus on and harden a client scoped around the actual protocol mechanics (less so the text rendering). This may be a good solution for spiders, scrapers, programmatic clients, and non-gui/non-visual interfaces with the Gemini protocol. I've named it Ignition, please take a look! Definitely open to feedback; the big challenge here has been scoping this in a way so it's good at what it does but not too much more. It's available on Github at https://github.com/cbrews/ignition or through my capsule: gemini://cbrews.xyz (with a bunch of the gothic literature I threw up there, haha). Anywho, thanks! Maybe this will give me the boost to chat a bit more on this list :D - Chris -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
